What is TekVISA?
Answer :
TekVISA is Tektronix VISA solution provided for customers. It is a collection of software and documentation for remote control of instruments regardless of instrument brand and physical connection. It includes a VISA driver, VISA libraries, documentation, USB Device Driver, VXI-11 server, and connection management/debug software.
Most Tektronix windows based instruments require TekVISA to be installed locally before it will accept remote control from a PC. Please check the instrument documentation for details.
You can locate the latest version of TekVISA by searching our "Downloads Finder|" at: /node/7106. Enter search criteria as follows:
In the search results, under "Filter By Software Type", select "Utility".
Then look for TekVISA Connectivity Software. Latest version, as of January 3, 2013, was V4.0.0.
