Answer: Keithley has a number of products from the electrometer or picoammeter lines. For many applications:

• The 617 can be replaced with the model 6517A Electrometer/Voltage Source.
• The 614 can be replaced with the model 6514 Electrometer. The 6514 is AC line operated only.
• The 616 can be replaced with either the model 6517A Electrometer/Voltage Source or with the 6514 Electrometer depending upon the application requirements.
