Can the WFM4000/5000 waveform monitor be mounted into an older 1700 Series rack mount case?

No - the older 1700 rack mount is not suitable for the new WFM4000 and WFM5000 waveform monitors. A newer rack mount configuration is required.  Your choices are...

WFM50F02    -     A dual side-by-side configuration for two WFM4000/5000   

WFM50F03    -     A dual side-by-side configuration for one WFM4000/5000 and one WFM6000 series,  one WFM7000 series or one AMM768.     

For those installations that are currently using a WFM6xxx or WFM7xxx, in the rack mount that was  built for that series of products (ordered originally as WFM7F05), it is also possible to "back fit" your  new WFM4000/5000 into this existing rack mount situation.  To do this, you will need to...

• Order part number 437-0523-00, a new short depth adapter sleeve.    
• Remove the existing unused sleeve from the rack cabinet where the WFM is going to be installed,  and install the new short depth sleeve in its place.
