On the bottom right corner of my display on the sampling scope+ I see a red thermometer (sometimes flashing) that indicates the compensation needs to be performed due to time since last compensation+ or temperature change. But when I go to the compensation screen+ the thermometer in the lower left corner is green! Which is correct?

Answer :

The thermometer on the main display is correct. The scope and plug-ins need compensation. The thermometer on the compensation screen is simply an icon and is not active. It is shown in a box that lets you select how the icon is displayed on the main display.

Note: The compensation thermometer is in product SW version 2.X and above.
