When using two SPG422s locked using CW input+ why are the black outputs of the two SPG422s are not aligned?

Question :

When using two SPG422s locked using CW input+ why are the black outputs of the two SPG422s are not aligned?

Answer :

When using the CW lock, there is no field or line reference on the signal. The blacks from different generators will not be timed, and could be anywhere in the frame. All you are doing with CW lock is locking the internal clock frequency to the external reference. If timing is desired, lock one SPG422 to the CW reference, then the other SPG422 to one of the black outputs of the first SPG422.
