What are the main differences between the VX1410A and the VX1411A?

Question :

What are the main differences between the VX1410A and the VX1411A?

Answer :

TThe VX1410A has an Enhanced Monitor that can vary the fan speed in over 250 increments. The fan speed is determined by the module temperature rise in each slot. The VX1411A does not have the enhanced monitoring but is capable of operating at variable fan speeds that are controlled by the input ambient temperature. Both mainframes have a manual switch for full or variable fan speeds. The VX1410A has 875 Watts of usable power for the modules compared to VX1411A’s 700 Watts of usable power. The VX1410A includes (6) two-wide EMI filler panels (Tektronix part number 333-4206 -00) and (1) singlewide EMI filler panel (Tektronix part number 333-4205 -00). The VX1411A does not have filler panels.  Non-shielded filler panels are available two-wide filler panels (Tektronix part number 333-4208 -00), and singlewide filler panels (Tektronix part number 333-4207 -00).  Filler panels may be ordered through any Tektronix sales office.
