How do I declassify/clear the AFG310/AFG320 memory?
Answer :
Aside from powering up where the user last powered down, there are 4 User memory locations that can contain customer data, USER1, USER2, USER3, USER4. There is a secure function that will overwrite all 4 locations with default waveforms and set the instrument up to a default condition.
By selecting SYSTEM (SHIFT > PHASE), then scroll to SECURE, select and confirm. This is covered in the user manual on or near page 3-35 and the actually Secure Settings details are listed in appendix D, page 4.
