What is the difference between the P7520 and P7520A TriMode Differential Probes?

Question :

What is the difference between the P7520 and P7520A TriMode Differential Probes?

Answer :

When the P7520A is connected to a non DPO/DSA70000D oscilloscope, the probe’s performance is the same as the P7520 non-A model, which is 20Ghz.

When connected to a DPO/DSA7000D model oscilloscope and used in differential mode, the P7520A allows the use of the DPO/DSA70000D’s DSP to boost the probe bandwidth up to 25GHz. (To achieve the 25Ghz bandwidth also requires the use of the P75PST solder tip.)
